To me, TIG is a place for us to share information and ideas, to raise our voice and get involved in the world's issues. In other words, it acts on our awareness and connect us together. Once we are together, whether we do something or not is totally up to us. In other words, TIG is a mean for inspiring people to achieve their goals, it's definitely not all that we need. Being born and raised in Kenya, culture and the study of humanity has always been my inspiration. My beautiful country of Kenya has a diverse and unique set of cultural values and a heritage drawn from 42 ethnic groups. This has inspired me to think beyond Kenya and Africa, anthropology with its origins in the natural sciences, the humanities, and the social sciences has given me a global picture.
